New seat belts. A bit brighter than they looked on the website but looking good.
Sunday 13 August – a few shots from around Royal Docks. Looking very shiny!
New grille badge, sanded off the red paint and repainted it in black for a meaner, leaner look.
Sunday 13 November, last chance for a drive before the winter weather sets in and the roads become covered in salt and grit.
The compulsory distillery photograph.
The beach at Fionnphort looking over to Iona.
The ferry over to Oban back on the mainland.
Arrival into Oban looking beautiful in the sun.
A fantastic view from the northern side of Ardnamurchan with The isles of Rum and Eigg to the left and centre, and the Cuillin range from the other side from where we’d first seen them from Applecross that morning.
And finally our resting place for the night after arriving in Tobermory in the rain.
Clootie dumpling – and the infamous Applecross Bay langoustine (note: this is a starter size!)
And finally a view of the Cuillins.
The pass over to Applecross is breathtaking and a really rewarding drive. The hairpin bends at the top are insane!
The view from the top – the Cuillin range on Skye was still under the clouds.
It would have been extremely rude to have gone all the way to Skye and not have dropped in at the Talisker Distillery…
